Phases of icing on wind turbine blades characterized by ice accumulation.

Icing experiments on wind turbine blade profiles have been performed at the University of Manitoba Icing Tunnel Facility to facilitate a greater understanding of the mechanisms involved in the icing process for wind turbines exposed to cold climates.

Performance evaluation of Yuchai Engine working with Biodiesel.

At the present work, the authors obtain the engine outer velocity characterization working with Biodiesel and its mixtures, and show the chemical composition of the exhaust gases respect to NOx. Is observed a decrease in the engine performance when the Biodiesel per cent is growing.
